Goals for 2024 🎯

Get my pilot's license 👨‍✈️

This was already my goal in 2023, but I didn't make it. Only a little bit was missing, so I am hopeful that I can make it in 2024.

• Pass progress test for solo flight
• Solo cross country flight
• Pass the practical exam (skill test)

Become more proficient in flying 🛩️

In order to become a good pilot, I need to fly a lot. These are metrics for after obtaining the license.

• Land at 5 different airports

Become fit 💪

I started losing weight in 2023, but gained a bit during the holidays.

• Reach ideal weight (73 kg)

Be an active public speaker 🗣️

I want to stay active in the community and share my knowledge with others.

• Speak at 3 conferences

Learn calligraphy 🖋️

I have always wanted to learn calligraphy, but never got around to it. Not sure how to really "measure" it, so these goals might change once I get more familiar with the topic.

• Learn the basics of Copperplate calligraphy with guides
• Be able to write the lowercase alphabet without guide
• Be able to write the uppercase alphabet without guide
• Learn the basics of calligraphy of a second style
• Create all our Christmas present tags and seating cards with calligraphy. Extra points if the guests are impressed
